#1 What Are Auras? Aura Meaning

Auras are electrical energy fields that surround our bodies. Chakras and auricular fields are energy centers which are believed to be linked to different parts of the human anatomy, emotions, and mind.

Auras consist of 7 layers corresponding to different aspects of your personal life, including your mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Each layer correlates to a different element of physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health. These layers may be able to interact with each other to impact your overall wellbeing.

#2 Auras: The History of Auras

From Medieval times onward, painters and artisans have portrayed the “aural” (or spiritual) energy that surrounds humans by painting it as an illuminated circle surrounding their bodies.

For decades, scientists and researchers have tried to capture the aura through photographs. According to New Age philosophies, each individual has an aura surrounding them. Mental, physical, and spiritual health all go hand in hand.

On the other hand, Alternative medicine practitioners and spiritual advisors say they can see the colors and vibrations of people’s auras.

#3 Do Auras Really Exist?

There aren’t any scientific studies to demonstrate the reality of auras. However, some people do believe that there is truth behind them. They differ from each other when interpreting what an aura actually means.

Everything has an energy level. It’s how you spread vibes or share ideas. But it’s unclear if that energy can actually be regarded as a genuine expression of the spirit and physical bodies. Not everyone believes that auras indicate your current emotional state.

A person’s aura is similar to their energy field; some people emit high levels of positive energy while others emit lower levels of negative energy. A few people make you feel uneasy. Others, however, calm you down. It could be seen as a response to their energy.

I can personally state that the aura exists and is definitely noticed/felt.

#4 How Do You Read Someone’s Aura?

Aura reading is a form of clairvoyance where one reads the energetic field surrounding someone else. Most people think of aura readings as being similar to fortune telling, but there are many different ways to interpret what we see.

The most common way to learn how to read auras is to start practicing on yourself. Take some deep breaths and focus on your feelings while breathing in and out slowly. Now imagine you’re looking at someone else. What do you notice? Is she calm, angry, excited? Think about her personality traits and how those affect her aura.

Next, try to sense the energy patterns of her aura. If you look closely, you might find that certain colors dominate over others. For example, green represents growth, movement, and abundance. Red represents passion, anger, and power. Yellow represents harmony, optimism, and joy. Blue represents peace, tranquility, and serenity. Purple represents love, creativity, and intuition. White represents purity, innocence, and spirituality. And black represents death, destruction, and negativity.

#5 Do We All Have An Aura?

Yes, every living human has some sort of energy field around him or her. This energy field is called the “aura.” However, there are many theories about how exactly the aura works. One theory suggests that the aura surrounds us like a bubble, protecting our bodies from harm. Another says that it’s a type of electromagnetic force. Still another says it’s a combination of light and sound waves. But whatever the case, most people agree that everyone does have an aura.

While no scientific studies prove that every living human has one, it’s generally accepted among those who study the phenomenon that every person has an aura. And while no one knows exactly how the aura works, it’s believed that it protects us from harmful energies. In fact, some people claim that the aura is responsible for healing. For example, some researchers think that acupuncture works by stimulating certain points on the skin. They theorize that the stimulation causes changes in the auric fields, causing the body to heal itself.

#6 Aura Layers: 7 Layers

To fully understand the meaning of the aura, you also need to know its layers. The human aura is composed of seven distinct layers, each one corresponding to a specific part of our being. Each layer represents a particular aspect of ourselves, including our emotions, thoughts, beliefs, and spirituality.

In addition to the three main layers, there are also four minor layers, known as sublayers. These include the etheric, emotional, mental, and astral layers. In total, there are seven layers of the aura.

These are known as the subtle bodies. Each one corresponds to a specific part of your anatomy, and each one controls certain functions within your body. The first layer is the etheric layer, which is closest to the physical body. This is the level where your physical health, pain and pleasure reside. The next layer up is the emotional layer, which is associated with your emotions. Then there’s the mental layer, which is responsible for your thoughts and beliefs. The third layer is the astral, which is the connection between the physical and spiritual parts of your being. Finally, there’s the causal, which is the most distant layer and is the source of everything else.

#7 Aura Cleansing: 4 Ways to Cleanse Your Aura

If you feel depleted, maybe your aura could use an extra boost. An aura is energy field around us that reflects our emotional state. It affects everything we do, from how we sleep, to what food we choose, to how we relate to others. When we’re stressed, anxious, angry or sad, our aura becomes negatively-charge; this affects every area of our lives—including how we sleep, exercise, diet, love, and socialize. Fortunately, we can take steps to improve our aura naturally and prevent negative emotions from draining us.

The importance of keeping your aura clean cannot be overstated. When you have an imbalanced aura, you may find yourself living life on autopilot, unable to take action because you feel too overwhelmed to face any challenges. You may also be prone to emotional eating, bingeing on food and alcohol without regard for how they affect you physically. These actions not only contribute to weight gain, but they also have a direct impact on your energy field and overall health.

So what does it take to cleanse your aura, to clear out those negative energies so that you feel refreshed and happy? You could try an essential oil, breathe deeply, meditation, or visualize. These are four methods that I’ve found useful. Here are instructions for doing them.

1. Use Essential Oils

Essential oils are natural fragrances extracted from plants and herbs. Some people consider them mystical, while other people find them stinky. Either ways, they’ve been utilized through the centuries to deal with physical conditions, enhance mental clarity, and encourage wellbeing. There are various kinds of essential oils, consisting of lemon, orange, grapefruit, cinnamon, eucalyptus, basil, bergamot, cedarwood, chamomile, clary sage, cypress, geranium, jasmine, juniper, lavender, lemongrass, lime, marjoram, mint, patchouli, pine, rose, rosemary, sandalwood, spearmint, tanger etc.

Essential OIl Therapies (EOI) can help enhance mood and decrease stress. EOIs have been shown to be effective for relieving pain, anxiety, depressions, migrainess, insomnia, headache, and some types of cancers. They may even prevent certain diseases, including atherosclerosis, dementia, dyslexia, erectile dysfunction, glaucoma, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, and osteoporosis.

You can use essential oil diffusers to bring in an aroma when meditating or massaging yourself with one or two drops of your favorite scent, or just dab a couple of drops on your pulse points for a quick pick-me-up.

2. Breathe Deeply

Deep breathing exercises help relax you. Watch your breathing, and notice how it feels for yourself. Let loose of tension in your body by relaxing your muscles. Notice how your breath changes when you’re stressed out.

3. Meditate

Sit quietly and concentrate your mind. Focus on the breath entering and leaving your body. Notice how you feel. When thoughts arise, notice them without judgment. Do not analyze them – just allow them to come and go. When you find yourself thinking about something else, gently bring your attention back to your breath. Repeat this exercise until you feel centered and relaxed. You may wish to practice this each day for 15 minutes, repeating the meditation process each time. With regular practice, you can begin to see and experience your own personal rainbow.

4. Visualize

Think about what brings you happiness. Close your eyes and picture yourself in this state of mind. Let these feelings fill you with joy. Be aware of how good you feel right now. You can do whatever you please without worry. You’re free to make any decisions you desire without fear of consequence. No one else matters. Everything you touch is perfect just the way it is. Your thoughts, actions, and every word you speak comes from love and gratitude. Nothing is out of place.

#8 Your Aura Can Help You Attract & Manifest

When we say ‘aura’ we mean an electromagnetic field around us, which radiates out about 7 feet. Our bodies also create this field, though it doesn’t radiate out as widely (about 4 feet). Your aura attracts certain kinds of energy based on what kind of vibration it emits. People who vibrate at a higher level draw others who resonate with them in return. Those who feel very low vibrating often find themselves alone because nobody else feels that vibe.

According to the Law of Attractions, like attracts like — If you’re upbeat and positive, then you’ll most likely attract similar energies. Your Aura is the energetic vibration of your vibrational frequencies, so it plays an important part in attracting and manifesting whatever you want.

#9 Learn Your Aura Color

After examining the meaning of the aura and all the curious things, you may want to learn your own aura and continue by putting it in the color category.

Aura colors are often described as being like the hues of the rainbow. They represent our emotions, personality traits, talents, gifts, and even illnesses. In fact, some people believe that each person has a different aura color associated with their personality type. If you want to learn what yours is, there are several ways to do it.
